101 Car Drawings
Finals, Illustrator 2 5/16 X 3 3/16
Drawing For Graphics I semester long project. Come up with 101 simple line compositions on any theme we wish. All compositions had to be done in this pre-printed grid of little rectangles that he passed out. Then pick our best one to do as a final and mount it.
And these are the two that i ended up with. The one on the right was the first one i did. It is the headlight of a 1955 Oldsmobile, along with hood and grill lines. One of my all time favorite cars, and i really loved this composition. My wife loved the Mercury, and wanted to see me do something looser. So i went ahead and did it as well, mounting it on white torn paper, then mounting that to the mat board. Of course, my Professor loved it! He thought it much better than the Olds.
